Company Description Build Europe's Leading AI-Native Marketing Organization We're looking for an exceptional marketing executive to lead one of Europe's largest and most performance-driven marketing organizations. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you'll own the strategy, performance and evolution of an international marketing organization of approximately 150 FTE with an annual marketing investment exceeding €200M. This is not a role for someone looking to make their first executive step. It is for a proven builder who has already led large marketing organizations in high-growth technology businesses or scale-ups, combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, and still enjoys staying close to the business. A function where brand and performance reinforce each other, AI and automation are part of daily operations rather than side projects, decisions are driven by data, and every marketing investment is accountable for measurable commercial impact. You'll work closely with Product, Technology, Finance and Sales leadership to shape the company's next phase of international growth. Job Description Lead and continuously evolve an international marketing organization of approximately 150 FTE across multiple European markets Own an annual marketing budget of more than €200M with direct accountability for growth, efficiency, profitability and commercial outcomes Define and execute an integrated marketing strategy that combines long-term brand building with best-in-class performance marketing Build an AI-native marketing organization by embedding AI, automation, experimentation and modern data infrastructure into everyday marketing operations Establish a culture of ownership, speed, accountability and continuous improvement across all marketing functions Develop senior leaders, raise organizational capability and build a world-class leadership bench Drive rigorous performance management through commercial metrics, experimentation and operational excellence Partner closely with Product, Technology, Finance and Sales to align marketing with overall business strategy Act as a trusted strategic partner to the Group CEO and executive leadership team Qualifications Proven experience leading Marketing as VP Marketing, SVP Marketing, CMO or equivalent – this is not a first executive leadership role Leadership of an international marketing organization of 100+ FTE and ownership of €100M+ annual marketing budgets, with direct accountability for commercial outcomes Track record of building and scaling marketing organizations in high-growth technology companies, digital businesses or scale-ups Deep expertise across both brand and performance marketing, combined with a highly commercial and data-driven mindset Strong understanding of AI, automation, experimentation and modern marketing technology as core drivers of marketing effectiveness An operator at heart: someone who enjoys solving critical business problems firsthand, regularly reviews marketing performance personally, stays close to the numbers, challenges assumptions, and is comfortable moving between executive strategy and operational execution.
