Responsibilities

We contribute to GIC’s success by ensuring operational efficiency, performance monitoring, and risk management. The COO office collaborates with stakeholders across GIC to foster continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration, quality assurance, and performance evaluation.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A SVP, PMO LEAD?

The PMO Lead is responsible for leading the Project Management Office (PMO) in GIC within the COO’s Office. This role involves the development, implementation and continuous improvement of project management processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality results across all projects aligned to the organizational strategic objectives.
The PMO Lead will be required to work with an external group of consultants to co-create and step up the existing PMO functions to an enterprise-wide level with the immediate need to establish enterprise project management office (PMO) practices, governance, and artefacts.

Strategic Oversight and Portfolio Management

  • Set the PMO vision and engender commitment from the organisation at all levels, particularly senior management
  • Provide the strategic direction and roadmap for the PMO practice
  • Establish governance and ensure alignment of project management practices with organizational goals and objectives
  • Oversee the management of project portfolio, ensuring projects are prioritized and aligned with strategic objectives
  • Set-up and facilitate forums and committees to enable strategic business decision-making

Reporting & Documentation

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards to provide visibility into project status and performance
  • Track and report on project key performance indicators (KPIs) across GIC
  • Provide regular management reports and status updates to senior management
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress and performance metrics

Process Development & Improvement

  • Develop, implement, and maintain PMO standards, methodologies, and frameworks
  • Continuously improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor project performance and support successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as primary point of contact for senior executives regarding project status, risk, and escalations
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including senior management, business teams, and project managersProvide guidance and support to project managers and business teams
