SVP, Sales Business Banking JOB SUMMARY: Leads and develops a high-performing sales team to achieve team revenue objectives. Drives performance through direct coaching, regular 1:1 meetings, and disciplined pipeline management. Maintains a strong field presence to support team execution and advance sales efforts. Contributes to complex deal strategy within the territory and supports talent acquisition efforts to strengthen team capability and results. SVP, Sales Business Banking ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES): * Oversees sales team performance to ensure achievement of revenue goals and alignment with company objectives. * Develops and coaches team members through regular field engagement, providing real-time feedback to drive accountability and results. * Partners with sales staff to design and execute strategies that advance complex opportunities and increase revenue. * Leads weekly pipeline reviews and sales planning sessions to identify risks, resolve challenges, and maintain consistent progress. * Monitors activity metrics and analyzes performance data to improve sales execution and forecasting accuracy. * Collaborates with leadership to recruit, select, and onboard top talent to strengthen team capability. * Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules. * Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned. Qualifications SVP, Sales Business Banking REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities * Advanced knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and revenue growth strategies. * Advanced knowledge of CRM systems and performance analytics. * Understanding of strategic selling and talent selection practices. * Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop high-performing teams. * Effective communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels. * Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data and drive results. * Ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and achieve performance targets. * Ability to translate data into actionable sales strategies and decisions. * Ability to collaborate with leadership and adapt in a fast-paced environment. * Exemplifies the Gateway Values: Growth Oriented, Make a Difference, "Get it Done" Attitude, Team Player, Do the Right Thing.
