Job Purpose The SVP, Team lead for Cross-Border Transfers, will lead and oversee the strategic growth and performance management of the consumer cross-border transfers business. This team lead role will lead and drive strategic initiatives to ensure sustainable growth and profitability, leveraging deep industry knowledge and strong leadership capabilities. Key Accountabilities Strategic Leadership & End-to-End Initiative Delivery: Provide strategic direction for the consumer cross-border transfers business, ensuring alignment with DBS Consumer Banking Group's broader objectives, and lead the delivery of strategic/industry initiatives. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and guide the team through requirements definition, solution design, testing and deployment, ensuring successful and timely execution. Fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring their continuous professional development. Performance Oversight & P&L Management: Oversee the aggregate performance tracking, reporting, and analysis for the cross-border transfers portfolio. This includes comprehensive management of P&L drivers, identification of risks and opportunities across corridors and segments, and ensuring the achievement of financial targets. Market & Competitive Intelligence: Drive advanced competitor benchmarking and market analysis to identify emerging trends, threats, and opportunities. Formulate and implement recommendations for significant pricing strategies and value proposition enhancements at a strategic level. Portfolio Optimisation: Drive overarching portfolio optimisation strategies, considering product lifecycles, market demand, and technological advancements to maximise business growth and efficiency. Requirements A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in product management or a related field within the financial services industry, with a focus on cross-border payments. Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing a team of product managers or similar professionals. Deep and comprehensive understanding of the transactional banking landscape, cross-border payment products, regulatory environment and emerging payment solutions. Highly driven and results-oriented, with strong problem-solving, collaboration, influence and communication skills to engage diverse senior-level audiences and stakeholders Proven track record of managing product P&L with strong analytical abilities to synthesize complex information into actionables.
