Role Description: We are looking for a SW QA Engineer You will report to the Director of System Integration & QA, Broadband business unit. Location: Hybrid role – working at least 3 days a week from our office in Bangalore. What you will be doing: * Test multidisciplinary Embedded Systems (SW/HW). * Responsibility for features’ testing starting from integration till end-to-end functional testing. * Define clear test plans that cover all use cases and scenarios. * Execute testing to verify functional behavior of the products and to ensure their quality in an Agile environment. * Work in scrum team in agile mode. * Execute automatic tests using existing framework and analyze the results. * Provide requirements for automatic tests. What you will need to succeed: * 2-3 years of experience in manual testing of an Embedded System (HW/SW) * Experience in QA methodologies * Linux knowledge * B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar field, or an equivalent experience * Networking knowledge (Layer 3) - advantage * Knowledge of RF testing equipment, traffic generators, network sniffer - advantage * Python or other scripting knowledge, experience in test scripts execution – advantage * DOCSIS / PON (Passive Optical Network) knowledge - advantage * Agile working methods – advantage Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion at Harmonic: At Harmonic, we believe that building and nurturing a global team with diverse backgrounds and voices is critical to our success.
