We are looking for an experienced testing specialist to strengthen Teleste Information Solutions Software development team in Tampere, Finland.
As a SW Test Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, designing, executing and reporting system level tests for Passenger Information Systems.
Your responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you plan and maintain test environments, analyze and understand customer requirements, design test cases, run test cases, report and analyze bugs, write and maintain customer documentation. You will be responsible of Integration Testing, Requirements Validation and User Acceptance Test phases in assigned customer projects. As a Test Engineer you collaborate mainly with developers and project managers and interact directly with customer.
What we expect from you
The position requires good communication and team working skills. We expect willingness to dive into detailed customer requirements implemented within Teleste SW and HW solution.

Knowledge and experience on the following areas:

• Strong SW testing background
• Experience in Requirements Validation
• Good written and spoken English
• Good collaboration skills
• Ability to travel abroad (approx. 10% of your time)

Experience or knowledge in the following areas is considered as bonus:

• Experience with Linux
• Knowledge of ethernet network protocols and analysis tools
• Python and Bash scripting
• Robot Framework test automation
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• ISTQB certificate
