Job Description Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite/week) Visa Sponsorship: Talan does not sponsor U.S. work permits or employment visas. We are seeking an experienced SWIFT Technical Integrator to join our team and work on critical SWIFT upgrade and migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SWIFT platform engineering, Linux environments, and Oracle SQL, and be comfortable leading installation, deployment, and integration efforts within a banking infrastructure environment. Role and responsibilities Analyze software and hardware requirements related to SWIFT version upgrades and operating system migrations. Coordinate the preparation of infrastructure components including VLAN configuration, firewall rules, virtual machines, operating systems, and middleware dependencies. Install, configure, and upgrade SWIFT software components across test and production environments. Migrate system scripts and automated jobs, ensuring continuity and stability during platform transitions. Support testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities in non-production environments prior to production release. Prepare clear deployment documentation and coordinate handover to Application Production Support teams. Contribute to both BAU and CTB initiatives while ensuring proactive system maintenance and platform reliability. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience working with SWIFT software in banking or financial services environments, including installation and upgrades. Strong expertise in Linux administration and solid Oracle SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and data validation. Proven experience coordinating infrastructure components such as VLAN, firewall rules, VM, OS, and middleware layers. Experience managing deployments across test and production environments within structured change management processes. Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to collaborate across infrastructure and application support teams.
