If you are a high performing individual who is passionate about winning and inspiring others then we are excited to discuss career opportunities with you Job Description We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Swim Group Fitness Instructors to lead innovative and engaging lap swimming-based classes. This role requires a strong background in swim group fitness instruction, a commitment to safety, and the ability to create inclusive and motivating classes for members of all fitness levels. Availability includes multiple dayparts during the week Teaches a minimum of two weekly classes Lead safe, effective, and high-energy lap swim classes Provide modifications and progressions as needed Engage with members before and after class to build continuously build community Ensure a safe environment through proper supervision and use of equipment Collaborate with the Group Fitness Manager to maintain programming excellence Qualifications Certified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, AFAA, or equivalent) Aqua-specific certification (AEA, SCW, Masters, USAT or equivalent) preferred CPR/AED certification (required or willing to obtain) Previous experience teaching aqua or water fitness classes Strong interpersonal and communication skills Pay Transparency- $65-$75 per class Additional Information AS A MEMBER OF THE EQUINOX TEAM YOU WILL RECEIVE: Complimentary Club membership Perks and incentives with our products and services including Personal Training, Pilates, Spa and Shop This job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
