We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, with the ability to inspire and educate swimmers of all ages and skill levels. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a crucial role in promoting water safety, developing swimming skills, and fostering a love for the sport.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in teaching swimming is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, water safety, and instructional methods.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students of all ages.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Certification in NPLQ or NRASTC is an advantage.

• Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to meet the needs of each swimmer.
• Assess swimmers’ abilities and progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various swimming techniques and safety practices.
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress, goals, and any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area and equipment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
