ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
  • Accredited Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (AUSTSWIM or equivalent)- funding may be available for this site

OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
  • Teacher of Infants and Preschool Aquatics
  • Teacher Developing Competitive Strokes or equivalent
  • Teacher of Aquatics - Access and Inclusion
  • Teacher of Adults

As a Swim Teacher at NMRC, you will be developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school aged children, combining stroke development with water safety and enhancing the overall confidence and ability of your students.

  • Structure and design lessons with appropriate activities that challenge and develop your students swimming and water safety ability
  • Recommend students for level progression as appropriate
  • Teach and model effective problem solving skills and conflict resolution skill

This is a Casual role with an hourly rate up to $33.37 + Super & Y Benefits.
