JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking bank staff who is dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of swimming techniques. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating children of ages 3 months to 10 years in swimming skills, ensuring safety in the water, and fostering a positive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hold a level 2 STA swimming qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A thorough understanding of swimming techniques and water safety protocols.
  • Ability to work well with individuals children from babies to age 10 years.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous.
  • Must be patient, approachable, and able to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct swimming lessons for individuals or groups, adapting teaching methods to suit various skill levels.
  • Educate students on water safety practices and swimming techniques.

  • Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
  • Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area before, during, and after lessons.
  • Collaborate with other instructors to create a cohesive learning experience for students.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills.
