JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming and a commitment to educating individuals of all ages in water safety and swimming techniques. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment, ensuring that each participant develops confidence and skills in the water.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a swim instructor or similar role is preferred.
  • Applicants must have a valid National lifeguard certification and standard first aid
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate diverse groups of individuals.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching others how to swim safely.
    Current hours available Saturday & Sunday 1:00pm - 5:30pm, additional hours can be discussed.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct swim lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
  • Educate students on water safety practices and the importance of swimming skills.
  • Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their techniques.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in and around the pool area.
  • Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required to enhance teaching methods and safety protocols.
