We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swimming Teacher/Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children, especially babies and toddlers, and is committed to delivering safe, fun, and engaging swimming sessions in our heated nursery pool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver structured swimming lessons for babies, toddlers, and young children.
  • Teach up to Stage 3/4 following Swim England/STA standards.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment, adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
  • Work closely with parents to encourage confidence and progress in the water.
  • Maintain high standards of poolside safety and follow safeguarding procedures.

Requirements:

  • Recognised swimming teaching qualification (e.g., STA or ASA/Swim England).
  • Experience in baby and toddler swimming is essential.
  • Ability to confidently teach up to Stage 3/4.
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring, professional approach.
  • Current safeguarding and first aid certificates (preferred).
