Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Swimming Pool Technician to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of pool operations, water quality, and facility safety. You will perform routine maintenance, monitor chemical levels, and ensure all equipment functions optimally to provide a safe and enjoyable aquatic environment for our guests and members. Monitor and maintain proper water chemistry levels, including pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and other parameters using testing kits and analytical equipment Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of pool surfaces, decks, and surrounding areas Inspect, service, and troubleshoot pool filtration systems, pumps, and mechanical equipment to ensure efficient operation Maintain detailed records of water quality tests, chemical treatments, equipment maintenance, and repairs Operate and manage chlorination and water treatment systems in compliance with safety standards Identify equipment malfunctions and perform repairs or coordinate with maintenance personnel as needed Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to aquatic facilities Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address pool-related issues efficiently Maintain inventory of chemicals, supplies, and equipment parts Qualifications Proven experience in pool maintenance, water treatment, or aquatic facility operations Strong knowledge of pool chemistry and water quality management Proficiency in operating and maintaining filtration systems, pumps, and related mechanical equipment Ability to read and interpret water testing results and chemical analysis Familiarity with pool safety standards and regulations Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Physical capability to perform manual tasks and lift equipment as required Preferred: Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or equivalent Preferred: CPR and First Aid certification Preferred: Experience in hospitality or resort facility management Additional Information At Accor, we are committed to diversity.
