Description Please read the entire job description prior to applying. Although this is an entry-level position, there are minimum requirements due to it being a physically demanding position. Powder Coating Systems is an equal opportunity employer. Powder Coating Systems is looking for a Swing Shift Floor Team Member. This is a full-time position that runs Monday through Friday from 1PM-9:30PM. The starting pay for this position is $20-22 per hour. We offer Paid Time Off (PTO) that accrues from your first day of employment and can be used following the first ninety days. We also offer six paid holidays a year that goes in effect after the first ninety days as well. We also offer a benefit package that includes Dental, Accident Insurance and a host of other things also after the first ninety days. Our employees get paid twice a month. Employees are eligible for a Sales Based Production Bonus that can accrue monthly and is paid quarterly also after the first ninety days. This position is an entry-level position. Employees are expected to learn: -how to hang, prep, inspect and package parts for different contractors in the area. -how to use a tablet to move parts through the process. -the different ways we hang and prep parts before they get coated. -how to inspect parts to ensure they meet our quality standards. -how to package parts to prevent issues during loading and transport. It is a very hands-on and physical position that requires attention to detail and the ability to stay productive. Requirements The following are the minimum expectations for this position: -Applicants must be able to lift fifty pounds repetitively. -Applicants must be able to communicate in English. -Applicants must have reliable transportation to commute to Tacoma on a daily basis. -Applicants must have a current, legal driver's license. (This is a minimum requirement to drive our PIT.) -Applicants must have current documentation to prove their identity and their right to work in the United States to satisfy the I-9 form. (We are required by law to see the originals and not copies.) The following are helpful: -knowledge of how to operate a forklift. (We will teach you as part of your training if you don't) -experience working in a warehouse or shop environment. -experience using hand tools/air tools. -experience using a tablet.
