The Job The Warehouse Lead oversees and coordinates the daily operations within the distribution center. This role works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and leads a team of Warehouse Associates, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and accurately. The Company reserves the right to alter these benefits and perks in whole or in part at any time. *Benefit not eligible for seasonal employees The Opportunity Supervision: Provide guidance and leadership to Warehouse Associates, assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and ensuring adherence to procedures. Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies. Order Fulfillment: Assist in order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate order processing. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments, ensuring products meet quality standards. Training: Train new Warehouse Associates on warehouse processes, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Problem-Solving: Address issues and challenges that arise during daily operations, working to find effective solutions. Safety: Enforce safety policies and promote a safe working environment, conducting regular safety checks and reporting any hazards. Reporting: Assist in generating reports related to warehouse performance and inventory accuracy. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment. Collaboration: Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to meet warehouse goals and objectives. Other duties as assigned. Requirements The Must Haves High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education is a plus. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center. Proficiency in using warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems.
