CNC SET UP

We are currently seeking a CNC Set Up for our Arnprior team. Must be willing to travel to Brampton site for the first 4-5 weeks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 12 education.
• 5-10 years’ experience in high tolerance machining environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Able to work 8 hour rotating shifts.
• Ability to program and operate CAD/CAM systems (Mastercam)
• Comprehensive knowledge of CNC code (Fanuc controllers)
• Understand technical terminology and developments

• Study drawings to plan sequences of steps for maximum efficiency.
• Set-up using a wide range of tools and performs setups on CNC lathes involving very close tolerances.
• Completion of shop documentation as required.
• Follows all company policies and attendance guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
