Description
The Switch Assembler is responsible for performing all assembly operations within the department after proper training. Must work closely with other team members and Group Leader to maintain work efficiency. Must be flexible in the performing various job functions. In this role, you will build Switch Line products according to the specifications of the customer's order. You will perform machine set-ups for various switch configurations and properly operate all machines within department to ensure quality product You will check specifications and required drawings for proper assembly and ensure compliance to Quality procedures You will follow standard work, move and load materials needed to build switches You will transition to various workstations and help others as needed to meet department productivity goals You will work safely to prevent work injuries by following standard safety procedures When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger.
