The Sheraton Athlone Hotel is recruiting for part time Switchboard Operator.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the successful candidate will have an outgoing and friendly personality and have the ability to engage with people and build strong working relationships.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous switchboard/reception experience (desirable)
• Applicants must be proficient in MS Office Suite
• Fluent level of both written and spoken English is essential.
• Please note that the position includes shift and weekend work.
• Excellent telephone manner

• As the first point of contact for our guests calling the hotel - provide a warm welcome and efficient greeting.
• Answer all calls in a timely and friendly manner
• Transfer all calls as appropriate
• Provide our guests with details of hotel and local amenities and attractions
• Work as part of, and support, the Reception Team
• Follow the day-to-day procedures of guest
• Dealing with and resolving guest queries
• Excellent organisational skills
