Job Description About the Role We are seeking a passionate and motivated Java/Node.js Developer Intern to join our SAP team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) — developing and deploying cloud-based applications and services using Java, Node.js, and SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) or Spring Boot and modern cloud tools. Key Responsibilities Work with the development team to build, test, and deploy cloud applications and services on SAP BTP using Java /Nodejs with SAP CAP or Spring Boot framework. Integrate applications with SAP S/4HANA or other enterprise systems. Support troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of cloud-based Java applications. Explore and learn about SAP BTP tools and services, including SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Integration Suite, SAP AI Core, and ABAP development. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP principles, Data structures, Cloud-native architecture Basic understanding of Spring Boot and RESTful web services. Familiarity with SQL / database concepts (MySQL, HANA, or PostgreSQL). Basic knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD, Jenkins) and containerization (Docker). Eagerness to learn SAP BTP, ABAP, UI development and cloud application development. Good analytical thinking and teamwork skills. Good English communication skills. Japanese language skills are an advantage.
