Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship The position of Syndications Officer is assigned to the Guarantees and Syndication Unit (GSU) in the Office of the Director General within the Private Sector Operations Department. You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines. You will report to Advisor, PSOD and Head, Guarantees and Syndications Unit. Your Role As a Syndications Officer, you will support in the administration, documentation, and reporting related to mobilization products, including RTAs, guarantees, third party funds, and syndicated loans. You will: Administer contracts with mobilization partners, including monitoring obligations and ensuring timely payment of premiums. Maintain mobilization databases, generate reports, and produce statistical tables and charts for publications and presentations. Prepare the annual risk transfer counterparty limit renewal and draft comprehensive memos for the establishment of limits for new counterparties. Manage the preparation and execution of non-disclosure agreements and other documentation supporting mobilization transactions. Manage the fulfillment of Know Your Customer requests from mobilization partners. Ensure compliance with integrity due diligence requirements and internal procedures for mobilization partners. Contribute to a bi-weekly publication of summaries of Asian deals in ADB's sectors of interest. Contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of systems and procedures to support PSOD's processing, monitoring, and reporting requirements. You will need: Bachelor's degree preferably in business, finance, accounting, or other related areas; preferably with advanced training At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in banking or private sector operations. Proven experience maintaining structured databases and producing analytical reports, statistical tables, and charts for management and external publications. Exposure to capital markets analysis, financial publications, or periodic market monitoring outputs is an advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Written and verbal proficiency in English. This is a fixed-term appointment for an initial fixed period of 3 years. At the end of the initial period, this appointment may, at the option of ADB, be extended once for up to 2 years, converted to a regular appointment, or ended on its expiration date. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB that: (a) it will require Staff's particular blend of skills and experience in the foreseeable future; and (b) Staff's performance is satisfactory and they are suitable for further employment.
