The Campus develops the latest thin film deposition and etching technologies for applications in electronics, batteries and fuel cells, as well as strategies and solutions for the entire supply chain, production, purification, storage, transportation and distribution of low carbon hydrogen. Development of novel organometallic or silicon-based compounds (including synthesis, purification, and analysis) for ALD/CVD thin film processing. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? We are seeking a skilled chemist with extensive experience in the design, synthesis and purification of organometallic and/or silicon-based compounds. The main responsibilities will be: Design and synthesis of organometallic and silicon-based compounds and purification, including development methodology of those. Analysis using NMR, TGA, DSC, mass spectrometry, etc. Support of ALD/CVD deposition tool maintenance Timely and concise reporting (R&D reports, patent applications, internal meetings, customer meetings, etc.) Lead and organize the tasks within work packages/project Mentoring junior scientists and interns Support interactions within AL group and with other customers Join the safety activities Are you a MATCH? Minimum: Related master degree with 5 year experience, Preferred: PhD with some additional experience or Postdoc Languages: English : Business level required. E-mail exchanges and meetings are held in English. Japanese: Conversation level preferred.
