Junior + Network & Systems Administrator – Baltar - Porto, Portugal We are looking for a Junior+ Network & Systems Administrator based in Porto to support and operate a large international infrastructure environment. This role combines daily operations, troubleshooting, infrastructure changes, and participation in deployment and expansion projects across multiple locations. You will operate within an international network organization under the guidance and supervision of a network expert team based in France. The position follows a collaborative model between local teams and centralized expertise, offering progressive growth and technical development opportunities within a structured enterprise environment. The scope covers sites across Europe and APAC, requiring regular interaction with international and multicultural teams. Monthly travel to Germany is expected to support local operations, projects, and on-site activities.   Responsibilities * Support and operate LAN, campus Wi-Fi, and WAN infrastructure * Manage and troubleshoot SD-WAN environments, primarily based on Fortinet technologies * Participate in daily operational support and Level 2 incident resolution * Handle network incidents and coordinate escalation when required * Support office expansions, relocations, and new site openings * Analyze infrastructure extension requirements such as Wi-Fi coverage expansion or new workspace deployments * Propose technical solutions and follow implementation through validation and completion * Manage firewall requests including port openings, policy modifications, and inspection exceptions while ensuring proper validation and change tracking * Manage security policy exceptions and configurations in Netskope / SASE environments * Support OT/industrial connectivity requests, ensuring VLAN segmentation and compliance with security standards * Work with local teams and external partners when project execution requires additional resources   Technical Environment * Fortinet (SD-WAN, Firewall) * Cisco networking technologies * Cisco Meraki * Netskope / SASE solutions * Enterprise LAN/WAN and campus environments * OT network segmentation and industrial connectivity   Profile * Junior+ profile with solid networking fundamentals and willingness to learn * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Licenciatura / Mestrado) in Information Technology, Network Engineering & Cybersecurity, or related fields * Can demonstrate one or two notable professional experiences or projects showing ownership, problem-solving abilities, and technical involvement in networking or infrastructure environmentsComfortable working in operational and project-oriented environments * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills * Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions * Autonomous while being comfortable working under guidance from remote expert teams * Good communication skills in an international environment * English required; additional languages are considered a plus   This role offers exposure to enterprise-scale infrastructure, international projects, and progressive development within a global IT organization.   Benefits: * 35h Weekly working hours * Health insurance * Life insurance * Pension Plan * Continuous training * Integration in a multinational company
