REGULATORY & ACCREDITATION Full Time / 8:00am - 4:30pm The System Manager of Regulatory & Accreditation has significant system level responsibility for regulatory processes and standards. The role is responsible for coordinating and managing the ongoing system-wide functions related to regulatory & accreditation outcomes. The role aids in alignment of the regulatory & accreditation program’s goals with the system/organizational strategic priorities and assists with the annual operating plan. The role is developed from the needs of the entire Premier Health system and hospital community to reduce the risk of regulatory citations across the system and improve patient outcomes. The System Regulatory & Accreditation Manager collaborates with persons administratively, site-based regulatory coordinators and those clinically responsible for inpatient and outpatient departments as well as non-patient care support areas. This role is accountable for demonstrating a high level of data integrity and is the expert on regulatory definitions along with on interpretation and evaluation of accreditation organizations such as but not limited to CMS, JC, ODH, OSHA, ODBH, CARF and EPA guidelines, standards and/or regulations or other standards related to regulatory & accreditation. This position will work closely with all Premier Health Regulatory & Accreditation roles and reports to the system Director of Regulatory and Accreditation. This manager will ensure consistent and best practice at all sites, ensure deadlines are met, and lead system initiatives for performance improvement while also being a part of data analysis and identification of trends and opportunities. In addition, this role will collaborate with leaders across the system including PPN, Fidelity, CompuNet, SBHI and across many departments. Education Minimum Level of Education Required: Additional requirements: § Type of degree: Bachelor's Degree RequiredBachelor’s Degree Required § Area of study or major: Nursing Nursing § Preferred educational qualifications: Master's Degree, Regulatory Certificate e.g. CPHQ, CHCMaster’s Degree, Regulatory Certificate e.g. CPHQ, CHC N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration § Current State of Ohio licensure as Registered Nurse if degree is in Nursing Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3-5 years of job related experience3 - 5 years of job related experienceN/A Preferred experience: Experience in the specialty of regulatory & accreditation and patient safety in the hospital settings is preferred. Knowledge of Centers of Medicare & Medicaid, Joint Commission, Ohio Department of Health, data analysis, performance improvement. Experience working with improvement teams and physicians.
