In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the development of methodologies, the execution of system integration plans, and debugging of failures. As a key contributor you will collaborate with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon integration teams to improve post-silicon test content and provide feedback for future debug and test features. You will use and apply emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure zero quality escapes. THE PERSON: As a Systems Test Validation Engineer, you will deliver our next generation of system tests for our products. In this high visibility position, your systems engineering expertise will be necessary to find and resolve silicon platform issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive post-silicon Security solution from bring up to product for AMD's newest client APU products Work with cross-functional teams to improve post-silicon validation test strategy, methodology, and process Develop, optimize, and execute security solution validation test plans for all AMD related products Develop post-silicon validation infrastructure and improve execution efficiency (hardware, automation environment …) Perform issue debug and root cause analysis to narrow down the issues, risk evaluation and issue priorities Predicate execution risks and provide migration risk plan REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of computer hardware architecture and windows OS Experience & knowledge on security processor and Windows Security Solution ( Secure-core PC, Pluton Security Processor, BitLocker, mem Encryption, TPM, etc ) Able to execute and drive success of programs with multiple projects on the go Debug skills at both IP and system levels, Issue End-To-End driver capability Experience developing validation methodologies and infrastructure for IP / system levels Must be a self-starting team player with excellent verbal and written English communication skills Forward thinker to improve process and drive innovation PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Security processor FW development experience is great plus Scripting and automation tool development skill AI Utilization Working knowledge of lab equipment Self-organizing and the ability multitask based on priorities ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline preferred Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
