We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join NVIDIA’s Firmware Infrastructure team. In this role, you will help build NVIDIA’s groundbreaking systems, ensure their functionality, and validate them at the system level. What you’ll be doing: Plan, build, configure, and maintain sophisticated computing and networking systems, consisting of multiple components such as FPGA, GPU, BMC, CPU, etc. Collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams globally to coordinate FW/SW deliveries and ensure flawless integration of software components. Build and maintain automated preventative maintenance procedures. Supply system-wide checks and optimizations to guarantee the smooth operation of NVIDIA's high-end systems. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement in system performance and functionality. What we need to see: 2+ years of proven experience as an electronic hardware/software Practical software engineering/ electronics engineering certification, system administrator certification, or equivalent experience. In-depth understanding of sophisticated computing systems. Proficiency in computer structures, Linux environments, bash scripting, and familiarity with networking. Hands-on lab practice and a strong system-level understanding. Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Hands-on experience with NVIDIA’s hardware and software such as CUDA, and NV-SMI. Working experience in networking labs/rack rooms. Possession of system administration and IT certifications in Linux, and network-related fields. Strong coding skills in bash or Python.
