About Us
The Lakeview Family Health Team is a dynamic and collaborative group of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality primary care. Our team includes ten family physicians, their office staff, and a robust interdisciplinary team working across three locations: Brighton, Colborne, and Quinte West (Trenton). We partner closely with the Brighton Quinte Family Health Organization to provide patient-centered care that meets the evolving needs of our communities.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator and Program Manager with a strong background in healthcare and clinical information systems. This dual-role position is pivotal to the success of our programs and services, combining technical expertise with strategic leadership. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our clinical systems, support program delivery, and drive continuous quality improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage clinical information systems (TELUS PS) to support interdisciplinary care delivery
  • Lead program operations, reporting, and evaluation across all FHT locations
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and external partners to develop and implement effective health programs
  • Monitor and report on program performance in alignment with the annual operating plan and quality improvement goals
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including patients and families, Ministry of Health, Ontario Health Teams, and community organizations

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in clinical systems administration within a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of TELUS PS or similar EMR platforms
  • Demonstrated success in program management and quality improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with Ontario’s primary care landscape and interdisciplinary health teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced, multi-site environment
