Description

The system administrator works closely with the IT team and other departments to ensure the robustness, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of high-performance computing environments, networking and security best practices.
We are looking out for a system administrator to start working remotely first and also assist in setting up DTL’s Malaysia office.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration, preferably within a financial services or high-performance computing environment.
  • Experience with building/managing reasonable size to large compute clusters, whether it is HPC in academia or in industrial settings.
  • Extensive experience with Linux systems
  • Strong knowledge of high performance networking and data storage
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Effective communicator and decision maker
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary
  • Performance bonus

Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain server and network infrastructure, and implement solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security across all systems
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, and implement upgrades
  • Implement and maintain security measures
  • Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery plans
  • Work closely with other departments to support their technology needs
