OverviewGateworth Group is assisting a global leader in immersive technology, operating across the Middle East and wider globe. They deliver large‑scale live event solutions and rely on a stable, secure and well‑managed technology environment to support operations across the GCC.
They are now seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of regional infrastructure, networking, cyber security and end‑user computing. This is a hands‑on role working closely with global IT teams, local stakeholders and external vendors to ensure reliable, resilient and secure IT services across the business.
Main Responsibilities· Maintain and support core infrastructure, networking and technology platforms across the Middle East region, including Microsoft 365, Windows Server, enterprise networking, system performance monitoring, documentation, and hardware lifecycle management.· Deliver 2nd/3rd line support and assist the Helpdesk when needed, providing professional technical assistance to employees at all levels. Handle onboarding/offboarding, troubleshoot end‑user devices and meeting room technologies, and work closely with global IT to resolve complex issues.· Lead the technical delivery of local infrastructure projects and regional technology initiatives. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve operational efficiency, and introduce emerging technologies such as AI‑enabled tools, Microsoft Copilot and automation platforms.· Support cybersecurity activities in partnership with global IT, including vulnerability remediation, endpoint security, documentation, compliance, and promoting security awareness across the business.· Build strong working relationships with employees, department heads, global IT and external vendors. Coordinate technical issues, support technology implementations, communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical audiences, and deliver a customer‑focused IT service while managing priorities effectively.
