Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

The System Administrator will perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs of systems and network devices, including but not limited to software and computer installations and upgrades, routine automation, security maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and technical support for all users and projects of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Install new Servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, storage, by the requirements.
  • Support LANs, WANs, Endpoints, Internet, and intranet systems.
  • Provide solutions for various project and operational needs.
  • Configure and maintain Computers, IP Phones, Printers, corporate devices, etc.
  • Maintain system efficiency with regular health checks and monitoring.
  • Contribute towards the maintaining of IT standards and practices.
  • Perform daily monitoring of systems and network performance.
  • Carry out regular security monitoring to identify possible vulnerabilities and active threats.
  • Tasks related to Onboarding, transferring, and offboarding of users.
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues for resolution (IT Helpdesk)
  • Administer Servers, Laptop, Computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, IP phones, company mobile phones, software deployment, security updates, and patches.
  • Ensure network connectivity throughout a company LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Identify the user issues and use cases and provide long-term solutions.
  • Project-based initiatives and tasks assigned by line Manager.
  • Training and educating the users on business applications, security, and best practices.
  • On-call support during off-duty hours for supporting the 24/7 operations.
  • IT Procurement, Asset Management, and Inventory for all global locations
  • IT Documentation and bookkeeping in line with compliance and security.
  • Ensure relevant documentations, artifacts and approvals are in place for the work performed
  • Actively participate in KANBAN process of IT organization
  • Innovate in the areas associated based on the objectives set by the department
