POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the Energy Management System (EMS) systems and software applications at the Doniphan Control Center. The incumbent will participate in the full project life cycle process including gathering requirements, system design, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and support of the EMS servers, workstations, and software applications. The incumbent will work closely with our business unit customers and technology teams to ensure business requirements are implemented and meet customer expectations. The incumbent is not required to be knowledgeable on all preferred technical skills and will work closely with senior teammates to learn the details, procedures, and processes necessary to support this workload as well as independent discovery.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Technical Analyst: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (OR) Associate degree and a minimum of three (3) years technical IT experience, including specific experience as listed below (OR) High school diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years technical IT experience, including specific experience as listed below.
Systems Analyst: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of four (4) years technical IT experience as listed below (OR) Associate degree and a minimum of six (6) years technical IT experience including specific experience as listed below (OR) a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of eight (8) years technical IT experience including specific experience as listed below.
Senior Systems Analyst: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years technical IT experience as listed below (OR) Associate degree and a minimum of ten (10) years technical IT experience including specific experience as listed below (OR) a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of twelve (12) years technical IT experience including specific experience as listed below.

IDEAL TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Microsoft Windows operating systems (implementation and maintenance)
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft SQL Server (database maintenance)
• Microsoft PowerShell
• Experience in IT cybersecurity, compliance, and/or configuration change management
• Network configuration and firewall management
• Incident response and risk management
• Strong attention to detail and ability for critical thinking
