We are looking for a skilled System Administrator to support and maintain critical technology infrastructure and services. This role focuses on system reliability, security, and seamless day-to-day operations, with an emphasis on Windows-based environments.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; Commensurate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and related services
  • Hands-on experience with PingFederate or similar SSO/identity management solutions
  • Proficiency with SendGrid or other cloud-based email delivery platforms
  • Solid understanding of DNS, SFTP, DKIM/SPF, and general email security protocols
  • Direct experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms and integrations
  • Background in higher education IT or other regulated environments
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, automation tools, or CI/CD workflows

Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain PingFederate SSO client connections, including certificate management
  • Configure and support SendGrid for transactional and bulk email delivery
  • Set up and manage DKIM, SPF, and other email security protocols on Microsoft Exchange
  • Maintain and update DNS records across internal and external platforms
  • Provision and manage SFTP accounts and key-based authentication
  • Support and maintain internal applications such as Dynamic Forms for Exchange
  • Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and documented according to best practices
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, and Development teams to support integrations and deployments
