We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our IT team and take full ownership of operating, maintaining, and continuously improving the company’s global IT infrastructure. This role combines hands-on technical expertise across on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, stability, and security, while also leading projects, driving automation, and mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities Manage, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers and core infrastructure systems Design, implement, and manage complex virtualization environments using VMware Work with advanced VMware solutions, including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware Aria Suite Maintain and upgrade on-prem infrastructure, ensuring systems remain secure and up to date Integrate and support SaaS applications within the organizational ecosystem Manage identity, access, and permissions using Microsoft Entra ID, including Single Sign-On (SSO) integration Monitor system health, ensure business continuity, and maintain reliable backup and recovery procedures Collaborate with the Information Security team to ensure compliance and alignment with security policies Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency Manage endpoint systems and workstation environments, including patching, updates, and lifecycle operations Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical leadership to junior staff Requirements At least 4 years of hands-on experience in system administration within enterprise environments Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including hardware, networking, storage, and backup/recovery practices Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS Deep expertise in VMware environments, including vCenter, Veeam Backup, and advanced solutions (VCF, Aria Suite) Strong experience with Windows and Linux servers, including installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting Proven knowledge of Microsoft enterprise services, including Office 365, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Entra ID, and SSO Hands-on experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Ansible) Strong networking and security skills, including firewalls and VPN technologies Ability to independently lead projects end-to-end with full ownership Strong collaboration and mentoring capabilities Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated Excellent troubleshooting mindset and service-oriented approach Fluent English — both written and verbal
