Contract Period: Permanent / 2-Year Contract Applications are invited for the above vacancy in Metering Branch of Technical Services Department. Reporting to the Engineer/Senior Supervisor, the appointee will be required to: Perform meter data validation, estimation and editing (VEE) operation to resolve exceptions triggered by systems Timely delivers validated meter data for Billing and any services related to meter data such as Smart Energy Online (SEO), Demand Response Event and Summary Saver Rebate program etc Perform daily operations on various meter reading management systems, e.g., SAP CCMS, Oracle CCS, Itron MDMS, Strategic Metering Platform (SMP), Meter Reading Handheld Systems etc Manage work schedules to ensure timeliness of meter data collection and exception handling for all CLP customers Review and handle reported meter events and/or abnormalities and take necessary follow up actions Maintain metering operation performance to ensure compliance with established service standards Analyze meter data and initiate projects to improve operation efficiency, such as billing method conversion, ERP transformation and workflow optimization etc Propose, design and conduct user acceptance tests (UAT) for various system upgrades and enhancement Develop and review work procedures, technical guidelines and training materials to support operations Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor as and when required Requirements: Higher Certificate / Higher Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Professional Diploma in Power Engineering or equivalent plus 2 years’ relevant experience OR Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Power Engineering or equivalent plus 4 years’ relevant experience Knowledge in data analysis is preferable Knowledge and experience in metering operations, SAP, Oracle and Power BI/ Power Automate / Python is preferable Experience in IT systems enhancement and metering projects is preferrable Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese Team player with good analytical mind and fast learning ability; mindful to details and flexible to take up ad-hoc duties Candidates with less qualification and/or experience but demonstrate good potential for further development will be considered for a position at lower grade.
