Reporting to the Vice President, Information Technology, the System Administrator is responsible for overseeing network infrastructure, with a focus on HPE Aruba equipment, managing Azure infrastructure and O365 services, ensuring the health and management of the backup system, and maintaining overall system security. A major responsibility of this role is to resolve user service requests efficiently, providing timely support and troubleshooting. Additionally, this role involves maintaining system performance, supporting software installations, and occasionally managing new software projects.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Proficiency in network and system administration, including experience with HPE Aruba equipment, Azure infrastructure, and O365 services.

- Knowledge of security best practices and experience in applying security patches and maintaining system security.
- Experience with backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND EDUCATION:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network and system administration, preferably with HPE Aruba equipment, Azure infrastructure, and O365 services.
- Proven track record of resolving user support and service requests efficiently.
- Experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Demonstrated ability to manage backup systems and ensure data integrity.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar are preferred.
- Ongoing professional development and training in network and system administration best practices.
- A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Equivalent work experience and demonstrated expertise in the responsibilities outlined will be considered.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps effectively.
