Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced System Analyst to support the department initiatives including the successful implementation of Workday as the hospital’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, understanding, and documenting current processes, integrations, and workflows; collaborating with and acting as a liaison between all stakeholders to ensure successful system implementations that aligns with organizational and departmental requirements and goals; and develop internal administrative, operational and troubleshooting documentation in support of system UAT, go-live, and subsequent production and non-production environments.
The Systems Analyst will possess excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and communication skills, working effectively both independently and as part of a team (technical and non-technical).
EDUCATION
EXPERIENCE
o Database/SQL and system integrations (APIs, ETL).
1) System Analysis and documentation
o Perform detailed analysis and documentation of current relevant systems
o Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, identify gaps, and develop recommendations for improvements
o Work with team toasses, model, test, and document processes, integrations, workflows, and data flows.
o Work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment between system functionalities and business processes and requirements
o Ensure understanding and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (including security and privacy) and organizational policies
2) System Implementation and Go-Live support
o Collaborate with relevant PM, and work with all stakeholders during system implementation and roll-outs of upgrades and updates
o Support the development, testing and execution of any system and data migration plans, including data cleansing, mapping, and validation
o Assist with any UAT, training, and go-live readiness for relevantteams; ensuring identified issues are addressed and tested.
o Provide go-live and post-launch support to address urgent issues
3) Operational Support and System Administration
o Be the subject matter expert for selected applications providing administration and support (operational and project), including:
o Lead in thedevelopment, documentation, operationalization, and execution of relevant system administration and end-user support .
o Work with stakeholders to develop and implement proper disaster recovery and business continuity plans
o Assist with root causeanalysis (RCA) for incident and help implement fixes
o Assist with management of user access, security roles, and permissions
o Liaise with vendors for escalated technical support to ensure SLA and SLO are met
o Provide and support training of relevanttechnical and non-technical users and staffParticipate and provide after hours on-call coverage and support (operational and project)
4) Continuous Improvement
o Propose enhancements to improve system reliability and user experience
o Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging vendor recommendations, updates, and developments .
o Support in the development and enhancement of policies and procedures of relevant systems
