Responsibilities
The department Development and Service Management in ITM Land is responsible to develop and operate all global business applications for the Schenker Land Transport business.
Based on agile development methods, the team is responsible to provide reliable and performant IT solutions for a demanding business, act as central coordination and management unit for internal and external suppliers and take care of the day to day IT operation.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for Focus typically on one platform/application, establishing an end-to-end vision Understanding all interactions between components on a given level of abstraction as well as definition of limitations and requirements.
IT Management Land is looking for a System Architect for the strategic business solution STAR EU for the Schenker Land Transport in Europe. This service consists of several IT applications and data integrations used for the core business processes in logistics.
As System Architect you are responsible for detailed architecture and design for platforms, applications and systems development.
You take business needs and refine and transform them into viable concepts, specifications and acceptance criteria. Your work forms a significant input for the software development or configuration.
Other responsibilities include engagement into application consulting and the design of solution components towards availability, security, scalability & performance parameters.
