Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking System Architect with 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions using .NET 9+, C#, SQL Server, IIS, REST APIs, and Windows Server. The System Architect will be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and high-performance architecture that aligns with business and technical objectives. This role requires oversight of both software and hardware components to ensure system robustness and compliance with project constraints.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software/system architecture and development.
  • Proven expertise in:
  • .NET 9+, C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework
  • SQL Server (complex queries, optimization, schema design)
  • IIS (Internet Information Services) setup and management
  • RESTful API design and integration
  • Windows Server environments (deployment, maintenance, and security)
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, microservices architecture, and application lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of system security principles, compliance standards, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, especially in presenting architecture to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must hold TOGAF Certification, Microsoft Solutions Architect Certified or equivalentPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) for hybrid or cloud-native deployments.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern DevOps practices.
  • Experience in enterprise environments with complex integration needs.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement end-to-end system architectures that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Lead architecture planning sessions and define architectural standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and IT operations to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Architect solutions using .NET 9+, C#, and related Microsoft technology stack.
  • Oversee configuration and deployment on Windows Server environments and manage IIS web server hosting.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for system integration and external communication.
  • Guide the implementation of robust, scalable databases using SQL Server, including schema design, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure architecture decisions comply with project constraints such as budget, timeline, performance, and security.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, system audits, and technology evaluations.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development teams.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, and system availability strategies.
  • Document system architecture, processes, and integration points for internal use and compliance needs.
