THIS POSITION WILL SPLIT TIME BETWEEN TOPEKA CAMPUS AND FLINT HILLS CAMPUS AND PROVIDE CLINICAL EDUCATION IN BOTH LOCATIONS.
Education Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) RequiredMaster’s Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications
1 year experience precepting or mentoring clinical staff - RequiredExperience developing or delivering training. - Preferred
Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates ability to use basic audiovisual skillsAbility to train clinical staff.
Licenses and Certifications
Basic Life Support - BLS ALS and PALS Instructor Status required within 1 year of hire.ENA Director Course status required within 18 months of hire
What you will do
Serves as a mentor to clinical staff, and identifies growth opportunities and educational needs for practicing clinical staff.Maintains current knowledge of trends in area of expertise.
Travel Requirements
30% Will travel to Flint Hills campus, Topeka campus, and other SVH locations as needed.
