Description

Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems to support scalable and reliable applications. Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of systems within cloud environments. Develop and maintain automated processes to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring of cloud-based infrastructure. Utilize monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of applications, addressing any issues promptly to maintain reliability. Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure cloud infrastructure aligns with business and technical requirements. Evaluate and implement strategies to scale systems efficiently in response to business needs and traffic demands. Investigate and resolve system-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and consistent system availability. Contribute to the evaluation and integration of cloud services and tools to enhance infrastructure capabilities. Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and operational procedures to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing. As a System and Cloud Engineer, you will develop and maintain tools to support product teams build and deliver solutions quickly and reliably. Additionally, you will design, set up, and codify best practices and processes to manage infrastructure and resources. You will get the opportunity to: Work with your peers in the Cloud Infrastructure chapter, collaborating on platform improvements and fostering learning and growth in a supportive environment. Govern the infrastructure, resources and accounts in AWS Ensure that Compliance and Security standards are adhered to. Actively contribute and demonstrate healthy modern engineering practices. Drive projects and implementations within our team's areas of responsibility. 1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Experienced with Cloud technologies, preferably AWS. Are versed in container orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS). Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Cloud formation, AWS CDK Expertise in CI/CD systems.
