SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• MSc degree at a nationally recognised/certified in a GIS, IT, Computer or Software related discipline and a minimum of 6 years post-related experience OR exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
• Large experience across a broad range of IT related skill areas including networking, security, server and desktop installation, enterprise applications, web applications and desktop development;
• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS software including installation, configuration, optimization and creation of all currently available service types.

• Preparing and updating Core GIS architecture to match COTS software version;
• Creating and defining installation and accreditation documentation for the system;
• Updating the Core GIS System Configuration Course to the latest baseline.
