WHAT YOU’LL DO:

You will work as a Function and System Design Engineer in the area responsible for Low Speed Assistance functions.
The teams are designing the customer functions, setting requirements for attributes, user experience and performance. The team also has the responsibility for the verification of the customer functions, from integration to attributes.
As a Function and System Design Engineer, you will be designing the customer function, breaking down and writing requirements for system and software design, so other teams can develop the software. You will design the system, collaborating across the organisation, getting the system and software interfaces together. You will also perform hazard and functional and system safety analysis.
You will collaborate closely with the test engineers in the team, and the sensor platform teams, to align functionality to sensor performance. UX and HMI are central to our functions, which means you will work together with UX to create the best user experience. You will also work together with the suppliers to ensure the best functionality, and continuously be part of the development and testing of the function and system.

To be successful in the role,

• You have a drive to learn continuously and are flexible to broaden your experience.
• You have a MSc in Electrical Engineering, Automation and Control, Automotive or similar.
• You have at least a few years of experience in system design and writing requirements on different abstraction levels.
• You enjoy sharing your knowledge and are enthusiastic in helping your colleagues to improve their competence in this area.
• Finally, you are fluent in English, spoken and written, and have a driver’s license (B)
