TECHNICAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • A degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Automation
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage with diverse customers
  • In-depth knowledge of RAMS, EN-50126, SIL, and EN-50128 standards
  • Extensive experience in international projects or environments
  • Good English language skills (minimum B2 level or equivalent)
  • Expertise in computer systems within Windows environments and Office suite
  • Advanced knowledge of analog/digital electronics, signal analysis, metrology, statistical data analysis, optics, networking, and artificial vision systems
  • Willingness to undertake frequent international travel
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior System Engineer, you’ll oversee:

  • Analyzing and interpreting technical project specifications
  • Leading the creation and review of technical project documentation
  • Configuring complex products and systems
  • Directing product testing at Mermec facilities
  • Leading commissioning and testing efforts at customer premises
  • Providing expert-level training to customers on system operation
  • Managing remote system monitoring activities
  • Conducting in-depth statistical analysis of results
  • Providing strategic technical support to the Product Leader for feasibility studies and product optimization
