JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems engineering and IT infrastructure, with expertise in service-oriented architecture and solution architecture. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems while ensuring optimal performance and security. The System Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ Years of Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in systems engineering and system design.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components including networking (DNS, VPN), firewalls, and computer management.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, or similar languages.
• Experience with database management systems like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their associated services.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Git.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Shell Scripting) for automation tasks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess vulnerabilities through vulnerability assessments and threat intelligence analysis.

• Design and implement system architectures that support business objectives using service-oriented architecture principles.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration across various platforms.
• Manage IT infrastructure, including cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and on-premises systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to design scalable solutions using microservices, RESTful APIs, and web services.
• Ensure system security through cloud security practices, vulnerability management, and system hardening techniques.
• Perform system administration tasks across various operating systems (Windows, Linux) and manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Implement load balancing strategies to optimize performance and reliability of applications.
• Utilize virtualization technologies (VMware, ESXi) for efficient resource management.
• Participate in Agile development processes and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of systems to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain documentation for system designs, configurations, and procedures.
