Summary
We are looking for a “System Engineer for Fighter Radar Test Equipment (f/m/d)” for the “Test & Simulation” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “Test & Simulation” department offers a broad and interesting range of tasks. The main focus of this position is the design, development and maintenance of complex test systems for Eurofighter radars as part of multinational projects.
Your Tasks
- Product responsibility for an adaptation development of the Radar Environmental Simulator
- Creation and adaptation of system requirements, system architecture, verification and integration in line with the overall technical project roadmap
- Compliance with the individual steps of the engineering lifecycle (HMS, project-specific processes)
- Close cooperation with the system and software developers, sometimes across locations (Ulm, Immenstaad)
- Cooperation with our consortium partner Leonardo UK in Edinburgh
- Testing and integration of the customized test systems including execution of test runs, dry runs and informal and formal test procedures (ATPs/ATRs)
- Creation of the necessary project documentation
Willingness to travel for the purpose of requirements analysis, integration and technical support is required.
Your Profile
- Completed scientific / technical studies or comparable
- Experience in requirements engineering and systems engineering
- Experience in system integration and verification
- Experience in requirements management with DOORS
- Enjoy teamwork and finding innovative solutions
- Business fluent German and very good English skills
