Job Description 'Functional safety expertise System developer with in-depth knowledge concerning product safety and functional safety. requirements evaluation / analysis Derivation of Technical Safety Requirements (TSR) based on confirmed Functional Safety Requirements (FSR), their superior Safety Goals (SG) and dedicated level of integrity (ASIL). Development of Functional (FSC) and Technical Safety Concepts (TSC) as part of platform or customer specific system-features for several sub-systems developed by EM-PE. Cause effect chain / Root cause analysis External and internal communication and presentation skills (proactive mindset, cooperation, knowledge) Control of system domain specific safety topics. Responsible for the delivery of the system related work products according to ISO 26262 Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Power Electronics, Automation, Automotive Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. Minimum 3 years of working experience in automotive electronics or functional safety, with experience in electric drive control, ECU, or inverter products preferred. Strong internal and external communication and presentation skills, with a proactive mindset, cooperative attitude, and willingness to share knowledge. Ability to independently manage safety topics related to electric control/inverter systems and drive cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities

The System Engineer will be responsible for developing functional and technical safety concepts and deriving safety requirements based on ISO 26262 standards. They will also manage system domain-specific safety topics and perform root cause analysis for electric drive and inverter systems.
