As a systems engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible across disciplines for the development and support of vehicle systems throughout their entire lifecycle. You will act as an interface between project management and the (technical) specialist departments.
You are responsible for requirements management. Your tasks include analyzing customer requirements with regard to technical feasibility, as well as subsequently deriving system, subsystem, and component specifications.
Working closely with the development departments, you will design subsystems and complete systems, and create architectures and specifications. You will cover all dimensions of the system, such as ergonomics, HMI, mechanical integration, and software/control.
Another focus is on defining, planning and coordinating development tasks both internally and externally.
Furthermore, you plan the commissioning and verification of the systems and actively support their implementation.
What you bring
They have a completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, computer science, or a related field.
You are characterized by strong analytical skills, a strong focus on solutions, and an open communication style.
Experience in a comparable position – ideally in a military environment or special machine construction – would be a great advantage.
Furthermore, you have experience with common development methods and tools (e.g. V-model, DOORS, UML, Matlab, Jira etc.).
They are a team player and practice a structured and independent way of working.
They possess fluent German skills and good English skills.
