Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer , a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.
We currently have an opportunity for a Systems Engineer - Integration in Victoria to work on Land Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Integration projects .

This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including:

• Conducting requirements analysis and development, lead system design and implementation activities, and execute verification, validation (V&V), and certification processes;
• Interpreting User Needs Statements and developing integrated C4I concepts, and interpreting Mechanical/ Electrical designs and Technical Information and providing SME advice;
• Developing and executing elements of the Engineering Management Plan such as Technical Certification Plans, Technical Certification Briefs and Safety Case Reports;

• Developing inputs into the Technical Certification process, and conducting Engineering Change activities;Supporting system implementation, rollout, and testing to ensure conformance with approved specifications;
