Your role as a System Engineer 

As a System Engineer, you are responsible for managing the IT environments of our Managed Services clients. You work both remotely and on-site, ensuring that systems remain stable, secure, and function optimally. Thanks to your technical knowledge, you are able to quickly analyze complex issues and implement practical solutions. 

You are a key point of contact for customers and provide support for incidents, service requests, and changes at the infrastructure level. In doing so, you work daily with modern technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Windows Server. You monitor the progress of outstanding work, keep documentation up to date, and ensure that customers always know where they stand. 

As a professional in your field, you look beyond simply resolving incidents. You identify opportunities for improvement within client environments, actively contribute to optimizations, and help ensure a stable and future-proof IT infrastructure. Furthermore, colleagues know where to turn for technical questions, making you a valuable sparring partner within the team. 

Requirements

What do we ask? 

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in ICT. 
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a system administrator or in a similar position. 
• Experience with project-based work within IT environments. 
• Capable of analyzing technical issues and independently implementing solutions. 
• You work accurately, are stress-resistant, and take ownership of your work. 
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written. 
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties (24 hours x 7 days standby)

Technical knowledge of: 

• Microsoft Windows Server. 
• Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, etc.). 
• Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune. 
• Active Directory 
• Network services such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP. 
• Modern Workplace and hybrid cloud environments. 
• Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender, PowerShell, Azure Virtual Desktop, or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
