What will you be doing?

You are responsible for the setup, management, and maintenance of the entire IT infrastructure of the A-ware Food Group. This includes VMware, MS Windows servers, MS Exchange, AD, etc., both in our central twin DCs and locally in our branches. You initiate improvement projects regarding methods, techniques, and service delivery, and also participate in these. Additionally: 

• You contribute to the implementation and maintenance of applications and systems;

• You resolve issues as second-line support and execute changes;

• Together with technical and functional colleagues, you ensure optimal support for business operations.

Who are you?

Ideally, you have about 5-10 years of experience as a system administrator, preferably within a medium-sized IT environment (300-500 servers, 500-2000 workstations). You have completed a Bachelor's degree in an IT-technical field, supplemented with relevant professional qualifications (MCSE, etc.). 

Furthermore:

• You have extensive experience with VMware, MS Windows servers, SAN, and backup software; 

• You have extensive experience with Microsoft Cloud (M365, Exchange Online, Intune, Autopilot, and Microsoft Defender)

; • You enjoy working in a changing organization;

• Good communication skills and proficiency in Dutch and English;

• You are driven, analytically strong, and solution-oriented.

Where will you be working?

At our office in Houten. You will work closely in a close-knit IT team consisting of well-trained professionals. Teamwork, as well as personal responsibility and development, are central. Because we manage everything ourselves, you will deal with all aspects of this field.
